E-noru (E祈) is a character who appears late in the story. He is a member of the Occult Club who is unseen before the 7th volume of the manga and 4th volume of the novel.

Appearance

E-noru looks a lot like his uncle, with longer sandy hair that is tied at the back with a red hair tie. His hair is described to be a little longer than C-ta's. He also wears a pair of clips on the left side of his hair, a white beaded necklace underneath his hoodie and has golden yellow eyes.

He wears his uniform much like E-ki does, a major difference only being its color at the time of the Occult Club vs the Film Club - a maroon hoodie underneath a beige blazer with red trims, decorated with six red buttons on the lower right side and his school emblem on the left breast of the blazer. He also wears red and black plaid trousers and brown shoes.

Personality

E-noru has a cool, pretentious personality, being less energetic than E-ki is. He is described as "stuck-up" by B-ko, and C-ta has remarked that he seems to like teasing A-ya. He likes trying to one-up others and seem intelligent, rambling when it comes to topics that he is interested in, like paradoxes and urban legends.

He is playful and unapologetic, uncaring of the emotional distance between him and others, and focuses on his own goals above the wellbeing of others. Still affected by his uncle's coma, he seems used to being compared to him, and is implied to also be chasing after the truth of what happened that day. He shows sentimentality when remarking that he's the same age as his uncle when he was sent into a coma, but makes it a point to mention that he considers himself "way cooler" than him.

• He is E-ki's nephew.
• His name is pronounced the same way as the verb "to pray" (祈る, inoru), and contains the same character.
• He is fond of paradoxes like "who came first, the chicken or the egg?" and Schrödinger's cat.
• A-ya compared the feeling of his gaze to one he "always felt recently"; if novel 4 is consistent with earlier events, he is comparing E-noru's gaze to C-ta's.
